Morning all, I feel as though I haven’t published a blog post in the longest time and with Christmas coming up I really want to start getting back into it, so come the new year I will (hopefully) be back in full flow.
Kindle or physical books?
I love reading on my kindle as much as I love a physical book and have a fairly even balance between the two at the minute, I’ve been alternating between the two every time I pick up a new book, I’ve just finished a paperback and am now starting a book on my Kindle. I love my Kindle Paperwhite, it’s so small, light and easy to pop in my bag and take with me anywhere and I have hundreds of books downloaded onto it. So providing it doesn’t run out of battery, I would always have something to read if my Kindle’s with me so for that reason I’d probably say I prefer my Kindle to a physical book. There’s also the bonus of the lighting so I can read it without having the light on in my bedroom.
Paperback or hardback?
100% paperback! I feel like the only person in the world that doesn’t like hardbacks, they’re far too bulky and heavy for me to read easily, I also get afraid to damage the paper jacket which goes around the hardback. Paperbacks are just so much easier to read in bed and chuck in your bag if you’re going out.
Kindle Fire or Kindle Paperwhite?
I brought my Kindle Fire probably just over a year ago because Argos had a promotion and for the money I wanted to give it a try and I absolutely loved it! Then a few months ago I treated myself to my Paperwhite, I loved the look of them and the fact I could read it easily in sunlight was a bonus (I really struggled to see the Fire screen in the sun). Only having the facility of reading on my Paperwhite suited me fine as that’s all I used my Fire for, I didn’t use it as a tablet like some people do. Straight away my Paperwhite replaced my Fire, it was lighter, the screen was easier to read for my eyes and the battery lasted sooo much longer!
