Review:
Firstly, I just want to say how superbly written this book was, what an incredible debut from the wonderful Gillian McAllister! I actually met her at a book event in Birmingham with Milly Johnson and Paige Toon and she was such a lovely woman!! She’s a lawyer as well as an amazing writer, i admire her so much for that, it cant be easy to juggle the two!!
I absolutely loved all the characters in this book and genuinely just wanted the best for Rachel and her unborn child. I believed Rachel and Jack were actually so alike and well suited together! They both had pasts they were not proud to admit and i just thought it would be so worth trying to work together to move past the issues!
There was the perfect amount of intrigue to keep a very high pace to this novel, every free moment i had i found myself picking the book up to squeeze a couple of chapters in.
Im actually pretty gutted with myself with how long it took me to get round to reading Everything but the Truth! Im so glad i finally have and i am super duper excited for Gillian McAllister’s second novel to be released, i will definitely be reading that as soon as i can get my hands on it!! I cant recommend this read enough to all my fellow book-loving friends!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! X
